Intimus 16.50 SmartShred Heavy Duty Industrial Shredder 10x70mm

The Intimus 16.50 SmartShred is a robust, industrial document shredder with a feed conveyor belt and large 118.9 gallon mobile collection container. The shredder has a user-friendly touchscreen with programmable logic controller (PLC).  This model is capable of shredding up to 450 sheets simultaneously, and up to 1322 lbs per hour.  This enables, for example, language selection, recording of operating hours, display of all machine processes, precise error display or maintenance reminders, thus speeding up maintenance. An extensive emergency stop bar on the input table ensures immediate cessation in emergencies.

With its spacious 19.7 in working width, it enables convenient and fast loading and efficiently shreds all types of paper materials: loose, stapled, bound and crumpled. Small quantities of plastic materials such as credit cards, CDs and floppy discs can also be shredded. With a cutting size of 0.39 x 2.76 in, it complies with security level P-2. An auto-reverse function ensures that paper jams caused by overloading are cleared quickly and a fill level sensor stops the machine automatically as soon as the container is full. The shredder is equipped with an intelligent automatic oiler as standard.
